Key West Reverie: An immersive music and dance experience director/choreographer
Against the lush flora and historic backdrop of Fort West Martello, the NY-based company Wendy Taucher Dance Opera Theater presents an impressionistic portrait of Key West. Vocalists, dancers and musicians from the world’s greatest stages, alongside professionals and volunteers from Key West, perform a series of vignettes for audiences to encounter as they explore the grounds.

Stillpoint: Nature Music Poetry Dance Reflection, director/choreographer
Created in collaboration with landscape and fine artist Claudia Miller, with poetry by Justen Ahren.
    
Performed on a private estate on Martha’s Vineyard.

        A site-specific installation set in the woods, pathways and fields on an estate on Martha’s         Vineyard, with four performance areas, including ten singers, one pianist an actor and
        a dancer, supported by a major commission.

        A site-specific work for 38 dancers aged 6 to 80, commissioned by Sheriff’s Meadow         Foundation and performed at an outdoor site on Martha’s Vineyard, to Beethoven’s First         Symphony. Site design by Dean Taucher, costumes by Ginger Blake.

        A lobby--through the wings—through backstage—to the audience site-specific dance         installation with choreogaphers Naomi Goldberg-Haas, Lorraine Chapman and Evan
        Hall, with support by the New England Foundation for the Arts and Bard SummerScape.         Community dancers in stationary sites within the MV PAC, with audience strolling
        through before being seated and viewing Dance.
